1. Eligibility check
- I am a Malaysian citizen and no older than 45 on the application date.
- My parents' or guardians' adjusted gross monthly income meets the current ceiling.
- I have at least one semester remaining.
- My institution and exact course are registered for PTPTN funding.
- I do not have a PTPTN account being managed by the Debt Management Agency.
2. Account and banking check
- I can access myPTPTN using my own identity and current mobile number.
- I have an eligible Simpan SSPN Prime or Plus account.
- If using Simpan SSPN Prime, I have confirmed the required 15-digit account number.
- I have an active personal bank account in my own name.
Save the official page or written information you relied on, together with the date you checked it.
3. Information to keep beside you
- MyKad details
- Official offer or admission letter
- Exact institution, programme, level and intake
- Course start date, duration and current semester
- Parents' or guardians' gross income information
- Number of dependants and supporting information
- Bank and Simpan SSPN account details
4. Before pressing submit
- Names and identity numbers match the official records.
- The selected course and intake match the admission letter.
- Income is entered as gross income, not take-home pay.
- Bank details belong to the student.
- I have reviewed all declarations and saved proof of submission.
5. After approval
- Note the approval date and 14-day offer-validity deadline.
- Follow the current agreement, revenue-stamp and submission instructions.
- Include the required copy of the admission letter.
- Keep copies and proof that the complete documents were submitted.
- Monitor myPTPTN and the student bank account for disbursement.
